The BEST Day of the Year

In just a short two weeks, Mrs. L's Favorite Day Of The Year will be upon us. "Is it Thanksgiving?" you ask. Absolutely not. It's that special day of madness, cat fights, mosh piles, and fantastic early bird shoppers specials. Have you guessed it yet.....It's Black Friday. This is the one day of the year when Mrs. L's wild competivite side is allowed to explode. I was actually introduced to the early morning scene just a few years ago. It is an amazing rush and it's a hilarious scene to watch. I would never miss it now that I've seen it. If you've never been you should really just go as a spectator just to experience it. I will be one of those crazy women at the bottom of one of the electronic piles (hopefully a Nintendo DS one), that's what I'm hoping to find on sale this year. So good luck to all of you ladies fighting for your lives. Stay tuned to see what I'll be chasing after this year and for the final results. Until then, here are some fun Tips on how to make the most of your Black Friday.

You absolutely HAVE to take a camera and snap some "moms gone wild" pix. That would be awesome. {you must share them of course!}

I'll be there!! Where do yo go? It's always Walmart for us so let's get together and help each other out! Last year we had 5 or 6 of us each at a different station grabbing 5 or 6 of that item! I was after cabbage patch babies, ended up with 22!! Ha ha it was a riot I can't wait!! Are you Mrs. L? Talk about feeling old.. ha ha!

Hey Jaime, I've never done Black Friday shopping. Sounds pretty fun. Or not, I'm not sure...

Hi this Wendy! I am a friend of Laura T. Your blog is awesome. Love all the things that you blog about. I really liked one of the sweaters you had on there from Gap. Is it okay to add you to my blog List?

I go with my husband every year (except last year I had to stay home with the baby). He loves it as much as I do, and delights in making deals with the people in line around us...you go for that, I'll get this for you, etc, and we'll meet up here...he's 6'1" and a big guy, so he easily pushes through the crowds, and everyone around us always gets exactly what they need. We live for Black Friday!
