With all of the fantastic snow this year we were able to take an extra early cabin trip. This really is one of my very favorite vacations. I love to ski and it is so fun now that Gabe can keep up. There is no tv and hardly any phone reception up there so we are really removed and it is so relaxing.
I have to explain this last picture. My brother is such a trooper! We all rented skis this time so to prevent us from having to pay for an extra day, he skiied and carried all of the skis down to the lodge and then snowshoed the whole way back up to the cabin. I know I cannot explain how far this hike was but just imagine climbing a really tall mountain in a blizzard in the dark. Supposedly it is something he always wanted to do. I just think he was being nice. It was amazing!
